SEBI chairperson should resign, A probe JPC into Adani mega scam, Congress Said

The Congress party has called for the resignation of SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Buch and a thorough investigation by a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) into the alleged Adani “mega scam.” This demand comes after a media report raised concerns about possible conflicts of interest involving Buch.Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh pointed to an article by The Morning Context, which questions whether Buch has stepped aside from decisions involving companies in which the private equity firm Blackstone holds a stake. The report also scrutinizes the breadth of Buch’s recusal list concerning companies linked to Blackstone.
